Andrew was raised in a small Northwestern Illinois town prior to coming to Iowa State University for his college education. He loved Ames so much that he never left. Eventually he moved to the Gilbert School District in 2005 and became a Tiger for life. Since 2001, Andrew has been employed for Allied Insurance and currently works within their Commercial Lines Sales department.
Andrew is an active member in the community serving as a Sunday School teacher at Gilbert Lutheran Church and has coached several youth boys basketball & youth softball teams over the years.
Andrew and his wife Carrie, enjoy attending Gilbert School events and watching their kids participate in sports and various activities. Together they have 3 kids in the district and some day little Emily will join them as well. They could not be happier with the Gilbert Schools and are excited to see what the future holds for this district. Go Tigers!!
