Leslie Saftig

Leslie Saftig is an attorney with a career in charitable gift and estate planning.  She practiced law in San Francisco and was Director of Planned Giving for the American Heart Association and Director of the Office of Planned Giving and Endowments for Penn State University.

 

She has served in leadership roles for planned giving councils, Penn State Senior Vice President Search Committee, Chapel Hill Academy Foundation, Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, Calvary Baptist Church Pastoral Search Committee, Westwood Church Leadership Board, Cornerstone Church, Bible Study Fellowship International, Youth and Shelter Services Foundation, United Way of Story County, ISU Foundation Women and Philanthropy, ISU President Search Committee and as first lady of the ISU Foundation.

 

At Gilbert, Leslie served on the District Superintendent Search Committee, District Advisory Committee, Rock Hop Live Auction Committee and as a classroom volunteer.  Her sons Jacob and Andy graduated from Gilbert.
