Mindy has lived in Ames for over 16 years and grew up in Hubbard, Iowa. After graduating from Hubbard-Radcliffe high school, she 
attended Iowa State University and earned her BS in Accounting and Masters of Accounting. After graduation she worked for Ernst and Young in Des Moines as an auditor.
Mindy and her husband Graig moved to the Gilbert School District in 2007. Growing up and graduating from a smaller community themselves, they decided they wanted to raise their children in the same type of school environment. They enjoy attending Gilbert School events and watching their two sons, Jackson and Preston, participate in sports and various activities.
